Being a parent to a new born is no joke. Being sleep deprived, feeding and changing diapers has a new meaning to me. I have never been so tired, yet, so happy. And, I am one who has always required LOTS of sleep. Though I must say, it is all so worth it. I can't even imagine life any other way. Noah is now two weeks old. He has regained his birth weight of 8.5 pounds, moved into size one diapers and is sleeping through most of the night. Amazing. I have realized lately how graceful God is. He has created each day to be different bringing so many challenges and joys. And when a day come and goes with more challenges than what I think I can take, I know that I can go to bed and wake up with the peace that God has everything all planned out for us. We are enjoying each day and know that they are going to go too fast!
This is our journey of life. One that is filled with much joy and happiness as well as many challenges. We want to share with you all that make up who we are, where we have been, and where life is taking us.

All suited up and random
Month 9
For those of you back home, here is the last belly picture. As you can see, Noah has grown quite a bit. I am still hoping that he will decide to come before this Thursday, but if not, his eviction notice is on the fridge and he will be joining us in 3 days. We will keep you posted and post pictures of our little one as soon as possible. For now Dave and I are just getting the last preparations complete and trying to enjoy our last few days as just the two of us!

Baby Parker Update-The Final Days!
I went to my doctor's appointment this morning and everything is going great. Noah and I have made great progress and my doctor feels that we will be ready for induction on Thursday the 15th! So, in 7 days I will be heading to the hospital at 4am to be induced. Though my doctor said she wouldn't be surprised if I went into labor before then, which I would love! She also said that even though I am a prime candidate for a c-section, (she said she thinks he is about 8lbs 10oz right now!) she is going to do everything she can to help me acheive my goal of natural child birth. Praise God! If you remember to do so, please keep us in your prayers as the days get closer and especially on the 15th.

Happy 2009!
In spirit of the New Year, I decided to go back through old pictures and look at the journey of life Dave and I have had together over the past 6 years. We have had so much fun together! And in 10 days, our lives will be even more enriched as our son Noah will join us. Here are a few pictures that I found while looking through our albums. I am so Thankful for all the time Dave and I have had together and look forward to so much more. Happy New Years everyone!
