So, part of my new business (more to come soon) is making diaper cakes. I have made them for work and many customers have wanted to buy them . One lady called this week and asked me to make one for her three baby showers. So...here is the finished product! For those of you in Huntsville, referrals are greatly appreciated!
This is our journey of life. One that is filled with much joy and happiness as well as many challenges. We want to share with you all that make up who we are, where we have been, and where life is taking us.

Baptism
What an exciting day for the Parker household! Noah got baptised this morning and it took everything in me not to start crying in front of the whole congregation. We are so thankful for our little blessing and pray that he will know God always in all that he does.
As for the actual event, Noah did well. He is typically not a fan of water on his hair, so thanks to Pastor Wingard for not putting too much on him. He squirmed, but was just fine with the event! Thank you to all of our family and church family for praying for us on this day!

Practice makes perfect!
Yesterday was 74 degrees out!!! I happen to be watching my friend's 9 month old so I thought I would take Noah and his friend Jersee to the botanical gardens. I had a great experience with having two children. It really wasn't as bad as I thought. I suppose I will be fine when our next one comes along! It was so much fun! Here are a few pictures of the babes.

Sleep
So vividly do I remember the days of getting sleep in two hour increments. How brutal that was! Then we got down to the one night feeding at 4am. And, at least I could catch up on sleep during Noah's one 2-3 hour nap a day. I decided that Noah needed to be cut off of the 4am wake up, so after one day of crying for 20 min, it was over. (Yay! We were able to throw away all of our bottles!!!) However, since cutting the feeding Noah has become an early bird. We now get the luxury of waking around 6:15-6:30 am and he has cut his naps back to one hour. It is amazing how much change can happen so fast. It's so bitter sweet. I no longer have to get up early to feed noah, but I get to get up earlier for the day!

Alabama's youngest driver
Noah loves to help dad turn the cars around in the driveway. He also loves to sit in the drivers seat and play drive. He makes car sounds and turns the wheel. It's really cute to watch. However, recently he has figured out how to throw a fit when you tell him he has been driving enough. Can't wait to see how this will work out in his teen years!

SLLLUUUURRRP
Noah can now drink from a straw! I met a lady at work the other day that told me that she took a juice box and squeezed it into her daughters mouth and within 20 minutes she was drinking from a straw. I thought it couldn't hurt so I bought a 4 pack of juice. It took us a couple of days of introducing it to Noah as he hasn't really liked drinking juice. But, now, he loves berry punch and straws!
