fun with friends

September 2014- We had a mini reunion with some of Dave's buddies from the Navy.  It was so much fun to get to know these guys and some of their family members.  I heard many new stories about Dave  (which really showed me a side of him I didn't know!)  This trip was also a great one because our kids made some new friends (and sweethearts) and I found my other half!  Noah was smitten with Ryan and Kathleen's daughter.  They were inseparable and absolutely adorable.  Durning our tours of the DC area, they were found holding hands, walking side by side and calling each other sweetie.  Needless to say, it was a tough goodbye!  I hope that we will be able to see all of these wonderful people again next year!  (I guess we need to head to cali!)

City fun

September 2014- We spent a Saturday in the city with Noah's friends from next door and a bunch of our friends. Dave's friend, sammie, just moved here from Afghanistan and it was his first trip to the city! It was a beautiful day to check out all the monuments. Noah's friends enjoyed their time with Sammie as they were all able to speak their language. I love the multicultural aspect of living here!

Ms. A visits us!

September 2014- we had a fantastic time having a visit from Ms. A! We also had our first visit to the national zoo. Noah loved seeing the panda and of course they both enjoyed the metro.

MMA

Noah has decided that he wants to do MMA.  So we did a trial run for a couple of sessions and it went great.  He is now doing it two days a week to get started.  It is so much fun to watch him!

1st day of 3 year old preschool

She had a great first day and has been asking to go back since I picked her up!  The few hours I had today with both kids in school was a bit surreal.  I almost didn't know what to do with all the quiet since we have had an extra long summer.  I am amazing at how grown up my baby girl is getting and love that I am able to snap a shot of her personality!

Last few days before school starts

Here are some pictures of this kids enjoying their last few days of summer break.  This priceless moments consist of hugs, slide races, and bubble beards in the bath.  I love these little ones!
