I feel like I say this too often, but where does the time go? It feels like only yesterday that I was bringing my new baby girl home from the hospital. Now she is almost walking and showing her little personality. She tells me "no" when she doesn't want something, not cry like she did months ago. She shrieks with excitement and claps her hands. She gives high fives and kisses. It melts my heart. I couldn't be more thankful to be blessed with another wonderful child. 13 months old today, 13 months of wonderful memories.
This is our journey of life. One that is filled with much joy and happiness as well as many challenges. We want to share with you all that make up who we are, where we have been, and where life is taking us.

Museum fun
I took the kids to early works again, it has become our favorite place to hang out. The best part for me is that my kids are completely engaged in learning and then come really engaged in napping when we get home! Today Maleah was able to keep up with noah and she even started walking some!

Let's play together
As much of an adjustment as it has been to have two kids, it is amazing to see them interact. Not only do they fight (what?! My kids fight?) they play together. The picture below is what I found on a very quiet occasion...two lovely kids playing trains! (and no fighting!)
The other Pictures are from our latest park outing. :)

Food choices
Well we are on to week 5 of our family adventure with food. Of all my ups and downs (I have 30 years of habits to break) Noah has been the most consistent. Perhaps because I control the food...or perhaps because his taste buds are adapting. He rarely asks for anything that we use to eat within the processed/junk food arena. It's amazing. However he has begun eating such things that amaze me. Brown rice, chicken and balsamic dressing and whole tomatoes sliced with salt and pepper to name a couple.
I cannot believe the things that he is now eating! With the progress he is making I dare say with a little work anyone can do this. And I challenge you all! The pictures below are of him presenting his tomato.

Block Party
I love those rare moments where there is peace and the kids aren't fighting and screaming. Here I found both kids kindly playing blocks together. Maleah finally mastered stacking two blocks and Noah was able to build his tower without the "monster" (aka Maleah) knocking it over.

Look whose a big girl now
So we are almost walking...standing with no assistance...and slimming up. I have been able to go back in time and put 18month clothing on her for the first time. Previously she jumped quickly to 24month to 2t. She is working off of the bottle and teething many teeth. Where had my baby gone? I am enjoying this sweet toddler so much, but every time I look at her I am in awe at how quickly our children grow up. I guess this is a good reminder that I need to enjoy every moment...even the fussy ones!

Getting my exercise on
Noah showed up in my room at 6:30am this morning with his running shoes on ready to roll. (I guess I'm rubbing off on him!) He switched the treadmill on by himself and started running at a pretty good speed. I love that we are starting early with this habit!

Random fun
Since Dave is gone, I have been trying to keep the kids busy in this hot weather. Here are a few random shots of my cuties.
