Trip to Oregon: Part Two (And more to come)
More pictures to come soon...
The second part of our trip was spend with Nana and G-pa. We did many things such as going to the zoo, swimming and many starbucks trips. Noah loved to play with Nana's puppy and kitty. Noah got to spend lots of time with Aunt Hailey and Uncle Christian, which he loved (a.k.a. Ant Hady and Uncle Christy) We also took a trip to visit the Schmautz side of our family. Noah enjoyed playing with his three 2nd cousins and hugging on Great Grandma and Grandpa as well as aunts and uncles. And, towards the end of the trip we got to visit with baby Jacob, also his second cousin on the Svingen side. We had so much fun visiting everyone and spending time with Nana and G-pa. On this trip he learned many new words and phrases: "I got nothin" and "opsie daisy". He also found a love for Yo Gaba-Gaba, and children's TV show that I found very scary, yet educational. Noah enjoyed dancing to all the music on the show. We had so much fun with Nana and G-pa and miss them very much as well!
Voodoo Doughnuts
Showing off our voodoo doughnuts
I finally got to go to Voodoo Doughnuts with my friend Anna. After reading articles and seeing stories about how people have gotten married at this doughnut shop, I just had to go. So at midnight we took the plunge. The rumor is true, they do have YUMMY doughnuts that are very unique. I decided to go original and get the Voodoo doll. It was filled with strawberry jelly...Yum! Perhaps the most unique thing about this place is that they do actually preform wedding ceremonies and there is always a line going out the door!
Heather's High School Reunion
Well, I couldn't believe that it was time for my 10 year reunion already. (How convenient that I would be home to be able to go!) So, I went thinking Romie and Michelle's High School Reunion...should I invent super glue? Surely I couldn't say I started a company doing post it notes, that was already used. Come to find out, I wasn't the only one who was nervous about reconnecting with old classmates. Everyone I talked to was thinking the same thing. Once we were all over the awkward hellos it ended up being a blast! What fun it was to see so many faces from the past!

Trip home: Part One
Well, we had an eventful flight back to Oregon (learning that it would have been a good idea to purchase a seat for noah rather than make him a lap child) but it was all worth it to be with our family. The first week we spent with Grandma and Grandpa Parker a.k.a Gama and Gampa. Noah had a great time playing in the baby pool on the deck and of course, driving the Gator. It only took him a couple minutes to learn how to drive it and he was set! We also went camping for the first time at the beach. Even though the water was super cold, Noah still had to play in it! Noah got to experience so many great things such as playing on the same playground his daddy grew up on and playing in the water fountain at the park. He also learned some new words: "Gampa's Muscle Car" and "Excuse me". Gama also taught him how to make the sound of a train. We are sure thankful for our time with them and miss them already!

Chuck E. Cheese
Noah got invited to his first birthday party for his friend Madison. It was held at Chuck E. Cheese, and this was his first time there. He had a lot of fun watching Chuck E. Cheese and his friends perform (It was cute to watch him clap his hands for them!) and playing on all the rides. His favorite was a truck that he could drive that moved up and down. They also had a machine that took these sketches, which we really enjoyed!
