The first haircut
After
Yesterday we celebrated March birthdays with some family friends. While celebrating we decided to give Noah his first haircut. I know, what baby gets his first hair cut at two months? Well, as you can see at the pictures above, Noah needed one! Our friend Georgia, who is a hair dresser did the honors. He did great and practically smiled through the whole thing. I will be posting pictures of the big event soon...

Growing Noah
Here are some new pictures of Noah. He is growing like a weed! This week had his first cold--runny nose, sneezing, and coughing. It was so sad to see him so miserable. However, he is feeling better today and has been smiling away. The past three days he has slept through the night, allowing his mommy and daddy to get some sleep. We are praying this habit will continue! Also, I would like to point out Dave's 80's shirt in the pictures. He insisted on wearing it for the picutures...totally rad!

My Noah
Bob is very serious about his baby
Our cat, Bob, has decided that Noah is his baby. Wherever Noah is, Bob is. If Noah is crying, Bob is laying next to him. It is the wierdest thing. Each night when we are giving Noah a bath, Bob has to see what is going on with "his" baby. Usually Dave and I are at the tub so Bob can't observe, so he has decided to sit on my back during the bath. We have had a hard time capturing the whole event on camera because when Dave leaves an open spot he jumps down to take over. With this picture, you can see that he has been sitting on me to watch Noah. What a silly cat!!

Best Buds
Today Noah had a playdate with his friend Madden. We met Madden's parents in our birthing class at Huntsville Hospital back in December. Noah and Madden are two weeks apart and are good buddies. Looking at this picture, it makes me realize how big Noah is. Someone asked if he was 4 months today. They were shocked to find out that he is only 8 weeks old! Anyway, since today was so beautiful (80, for those of you back home watching the snow fall!) we took the boys for a walk. Noah relaxed in the stroller and Madden sported the bjorn. I think they enjoyed their time in the sun as we were sweating the calories!
Yes, we are yankees

Mailbox
Friday night at midnight we were woken up by a big bang. Peaking out the window we couldn't figure out what the sound was. Dave got up and walked outside to find that a guy had fell asleep at the wheel and ran over our mailbox. He was very lucky because he was inches away from running into the storm drain next to our house, which most likely would have killed him. As you can see from the pictures, our mailbox has seen better days!

Drunk Driver
The other night I was heading home after picking Noah up from a friend's house when a drunk driver pulled out infront of me. I am so glad that he pulled out infront of me instead of behind me. He was going about 15 miles under the speed limit and driving across the road into the other lane and back over and over. He also didn't have his lights on. I carefully followed him, at a distance, and called 911 to report him. Several times he swirved into the other lane almost running into oncoming cars. I did a lot of praying during that drive. It was pretty scary to watch him on the road. Usually, I see cops up and down Jeff Rd, but of course this night there were none. The frustrating part is that I know he probably never got caught, as he turned off onto a side street right after I hung up with the police. It makes me so mad that someone can be so selfish to drive drunk. I did report the license plate number, so hopefully they still looked into it.

Going to visit Sandra
Today Noah got to go visit Sandra for the afternoon so I could take a nap. (Thank you so much Sandra!!!) Noah has been smiling more than ever, and every once in a while he giggles. I was able to capture a few smiles today for the record. Noah had lots of fun playing with Sandra today; he loves all the attention. She said that he was giggling and smiling a lot!

Growing everyday!
Noah is growing like a weed! At his last check up he was already at 12 pounds! He has moved right along and is now in 3 month clothing! I am not sure I will be able to keep up with his growth spurts. He is keeping us very busy, which is why I don't get to update our blog as often as I would like! He is still dealing with lots of tummy aches and as of last week we discovered the poor guy has silent reflux. So, hopefully the medication will start to help him feel better. It has been a bit frustrating trying to figure out what is going on with him; just a lot of trial and error. But with all that going on, he still has lots of time for smiles and giggles. It is great to see his personality coming out!
